The anti-flea and tick product Vectra 3D XL Spot-on dog 40+ kg works to treat and prevent flea infestation (Ctenocephalides felis and Ctenocephalides canis) for one month and is suitable for dogs over 40 kg. It prevents multiplication of fleas for two months after application.
Vectra 3D is also effective against ticks (Rhipicephalus sanguineus and Ixodes ricinus for one month and Dermacentor reticulatus for up to three weeks). If ticks are already present on your pet, they may not all be killed within the first 48 hours, but they may be killed within one week. To safely remove the ticks, it is recommended to use tick forceps.
Vectra 3D also prevents biting sand flies (Phlebotomus perniciosus), mosquitoes (Culex pipiens, Aedes aegypti) and stable flies (Stomoxys calcitrans) for one month.
Active ingredients: Each ml contains 54 mg dinotefuran, 4.84 mg pyriproxyfen and 397 mg permethrin.

How to use:
Remove the spot-on applicator from the package.
Hold the applicator upright and place fingers under the larger disc. With the other hand, press down on the smaller disc until the 2 discs touch. This will break the seal.
The dog should be upright or in a comfortable position for easy application. Push the fur aside until the skin is visible.
Slowly apply the veterinary drug with the tip of the applicator to the skin. Gently squeeze the applicator and apply the drug to 3 different spots on the back (see package insert). Squeeze until the applicator is empty. Avoid superficial application to the dog's coat.
